Can you survive for 24 hours without your computer?

Shutdown Day - 2008-May-03 On Shutdown Day [1], you are asked to leave your PC, Notebook, PDA off. Or, if they're running for days or weeks now, turn them off (In this case, it might be overdue). You're asked to spend the day with other activities: outdoor, nature, sports with friends or family. But why?

We're using computers every day and our live might be quite difficult or inconvenient without them. Are we able to ignore them just one single day? And what would this mean to us?

Shutdown your computer on 03 May 2008 and find out!
